The masterpieces are then used to create mold masters, which are used with high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished product is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, and solid construction focal piece that closely resembles original plaster medallions, thanks to the high-density urethane used instead of vacuum-formed "plastic" medallions.
