All you have to do is attach the baseboard provided to the wall, slide the lower panel into the slotted baseboard, place the second panel on top of the bottom panel, and finish off the system with the chair rail that is also provided and slotted. Our wainscot is made out of expanded cellular PVC, which sets it apart from wood or MDF. This makes it suitable for use in high moisture areas like bathrooms or mudrooms. The dimensions of our wainscot are 94-1/2 inches in width, 40 inches in height, and 0-5/8 inches in thickness, covering 26.24 square feet.
